Our Projects

February 4 2001 to October 6 2001, Theatre Outdoor performances on forest conservation on the Bimbia Bonadikombo Forest Zone. The project was sponsored by the Mount Cameroon Project of the Limbe Botanic Garden. Today, there is a management committee put in place to ensure sustainable exploitation of the forest.

January 2002 to December 2002, Theatre Outdoor Performances to educate the rural poor in the Eastern Province of Cameroon on protecting endangered primates. This was sponsored by COTCO and RTG carried out the project in collaboration with the Limbe Wildlife Centre.

March 2003: The Centre For Environment and Rural Transformation (CERUT) funded RTG's performance to the population of Kumba, South West Province, Cameroon on domesticating cane rats as alternatives to endangered primates.

March - October 2004: NEBF joined other local civil societies to sponsor RTG's theatre outdoor performances within Limbe and its environs on protecting endangered primates through performing the play: "BITTER TEARS" and Training on the domestication of cane rats.

March 2005 - August 2005: NEBF in collaboration with local civil socities to sponsor RTG's outdoor performances within Buea and its environs through performing the play "BITTER TEARS" and Training on the domestication of cane rats, bee farming, goat rearing and many more as alternatives.

Future Movies: A series of movies will be rehearsed shot and produced for home use. This is aimed at educating the society on issues concerning HIV/AIDS, gender inequality, child abuse.

Recently, RTG Has acted three short films with Wildlife Conservation Society to fight River Poisoning, Uncontrolled Bush Burning and Unsustainable Harvesting of Non Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) in the Takamanda Region. These will be edited and produced soon.
