The Reformation Theatre Group is based in Limbe, a small town in the South West Province of Cameroon. With a good rainforest and other natural resources in abundance, problems of illegal hunting exist. The Reformation Theatre Group joins other conservationists to protect endangered primates in the South West Province as well as other provinces in Cameroon where they are invited. This is done through drama in the communities as well as music.

Over the years, we have used music and drama to educate the population and engaged in projects that provide alternative sources of protein to those actively involved in hunting. This has proven to be very effective.The major set back in our struggle has been the lack of adequate finance to carry out huge projects. Nevertheless, we have been able to acquire small grants that have been invaluable in our course. We hope to be able to have larger funding to extend our project to other provinces in Cameroon and also, to train smaller groups in a programme entitled 'Train The Trainers'. We believe this method will be very effective and rapid. It will also be cost effective.
